Joint Pain

One of the principles of NIS is to address the source or cause of symptoms in order to effectively help problem areas for a client. For example, two patients with similar migraine patterns may have very different reasons for their headaches. NIS addresses the unique cause of each persons migraine. Another example is structural pain. We often experience pain in one area of our body, but it may actually be compensating for another area of our body (muscular, skeletal, glandular, etc). These other areas can then become the priority for treatment. This 30 year old female athlete came in with a painful ankle - however during treatment it was clear that her shoulders were also involved and once we treated her shoulders, her ankle was easier to address.
